Brand your Band Music Video Shoot

I've been busy with the Brand your Band Contest for the past weeks as we've been producing the music video for this year's winner 'The Gambling Badgers'. I did the direction and the footage is now on my desktop for editing and post production. Check out the contest here: www.facebook.com/brandyourband or here www.brandyourband.lu

"I should draw more" - Session 2

Session Two: ca. 8 sheets of legs. If you compare with the first post, you can see the line work is getting better. Also the speed is back.

Not ready for heads...

The following ones are about 30 seconds each. Also, no eraser allowed.

"I should draw more"

I haven't drawn in 7 months. In preparation for the character design challenge I'm joining it's time to start drawing again. Let's see how much frustration I can take. Session one: 2 sheets of arms.

Neuron Footage Update

In the first year of my studies I made a video on neurons in a project called Virtual Anatomy. The film was very well received and apparently still is today. With 28598 views at the moment of writing it's my most popular video on Youtube.

Some scenes from the film will now be featured in an animation by an artist from Denmark called Inma Carpe. You can read about her project here:

For this occasion I had to re-render the necessary parts of the video and I used the opportunity to quickly update the visuals of the film a bit because it had become quite dusty after more than 3 years.

Watch the new footage here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOirxFY1mVs

and the original Neuron film here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4ioRkqJqYo

Considering the completely different style and nature of her project I'm excited to see how she will use it and how she will make it fit in, and I will post an update here when her project is completed.
